MATT FORD

Matt has a sports science degree and has been a qualified PGA Professional for 20 years. Having played and worked with some of the best golfers and coaches in the world, he has an extensive knowledge of what it takes to become a Tour Professional which gives him a unique perspective.

Matt has played 112 European Tour Events and 203 Challenge Tour Events to date. He had statistically one of the best short games on tour, leading the European Tour’s scrambles statistics, and was regularly in the top 10 putting statistics. His best finish on the European Tour was 2nd at the Africa Open and in the same year he finished 7th in Hong Kong to retain his tour card.

Matt uses Trackman 4 and video analysis during most lessons and provides a video for future reference. Golf is a difficult game and Matt aims to make each session as simple as possible so students can learn gradually. He is passionate for players of all abilities to improve and enjoy their golf to their full potential.
